Real-Time Live Betting
One of the most sought-after features by play8oy users is the ability to bet while a match is in progress. With live betting or live betting, odds change according to how the game develops — giving an edge to players who follow the match closely.
Picture a football match still at 0-0 in the 70th minute. The odds for a particular winner may change significantly compared to before the match started. play8oy updates these figures continuously so players always face a relevant market.
- Odds updated every few seconds during a match
- Available for football, badminton, basketball and esports
- Multiple markets including next goal, live handicap and total sets
- Access via browser or mobile device with no additional app download
Bet Types at play8oy
Understanding bet types helps players choose a more suitable strategy. Below are the main formats available in the play8oy sportsbook section.
1X2 — Match Winner
Choose between a home team win (1), draw (X) or away team win (2). The simplest format and ideal for new players just starting to explore the play8oy sportsbook.
Asian Handicap
The weaker team is given a set goal advantage before the match begins. This balances uneven matchups and provides more attractive odds values for both sides.
Over / Under
Predict whether the total number of goals or points in a match will be above or below a set value. No need to know who wins — focus purely on the pace of the game.
Mix Parlay
Combine multiple bets from different matches in one ticket. All selections must be correct to win, but the combined payout can be far higher than a single bet.
Total Corners / Cards
Side bets on match statistics such as the number of corners, yellow cards or red cards. Suited to players who study team playing styles in more depth.
Live In-Play
Bet while a match is in progress. Odds change based on time, score and the latest statistics — requiring focus and quick decisions from the player.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
All transactions in a play8oy sports betting account are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) using payment methods commonly used in Malaysia. The minimum deposit is RM50 per method, and the minimum withdrawal is RM100.
Withdrawals are usually processed within 15 minutes to 2 hours. There are no additional charges for standard transactions, and players can check their withdrawal status directly in their account dashboard.
Mix Parlay Guide
Mix parlay is one of the most popular betting formats among play8oy sportsbook users. The concept is straightforward: pick several matches, enter your predictions on one ticket, and if all are correct, the payouts are multiplied together.
For example, if you select three matches with odds of 1.85, 2.10 and 1.75 respectively, the overall multiplier is 1.85 × 2.10 × 1.75 = approximately 6.79 times the original stake. The more matches added, the higher the potential payout — but the risk increases in step.
- Minimum two matches to form one mix parlay ticket
- Can combine matches from different leagues and sports
- One wrong result will void the entire ticket
- Suited to players following several matches at the same time
100% First Deposit Bonus Up to RM500
New play8oy members are eligible for a 100% bonus on their first deposit, up to a maximum of RM500. This means if you deposit RM100, your account balance starts at RM200. This bonus can be used across sports betting and other game sections within the platform.
The wagering requirement is 20 times the bonus amount before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. This is an industry-standard condition and ensures the bonus is used for betting rather than withdrawn directly.
Weekly Cashback for All Members
Besides the welcome bonus, play8oy rewards loyal players through a weekly cashback program calculated based on each week's betting activity.
Your VIP tier increases based on your betting activity over time. Players who are consistently active will move up to higher tiers automatically.
